If you have a KaiOS account, performing a factory reset is quite easy. Just follow the steps below:
1. Switch on your device and make sure it’s connected to the internet either via Wi-Fi or via cell network (with a valid and active SIM card).
2. While connected to the internet, register the account for Antitheft in the appropriate menu. You can find a step-by-step guide here. Make sure to provide a valid email address or the activation email cannot be received and the login to the website will fail.
3. Login to the web page https://services.kaiostech.com/antitheft. Please use the same email address used in step 2 with the proper password. Make sure you've activated the account (step 2) by clicking on the link received in the activation email. Your device will be displayed and listed.
4. Click the ‘Wipe Out’ button beside your device to initiate a factory reset. Please make sure that the device is properly connected to the internet. The device requires an internet connection in order to receive the order.
